1982 Yamaha XS750 shaft drive unique one off single seat project bike. Been sitting in my garage waiting for me to complete it for around 5 years and now need the space. No longer runs but was running when I was last working on it a few years ago. The bike has had lots of the hard work done with some new parts and the paint on various parts redone. It will now need at least a new battery, carbs cleaned out, starter motor seal (was leaking when last running), seat will need to be modified to fit or a new one made up. The bike comes with a V5 registration document although it`s not in my name (I`ve never had the bike on the road). I`ve done a text check on the bike and nothing comes up - I will of course give a full receipt upon purchase . It was originally an Ebay purchase and was put aside due to me building a new business so I`ve decided to move it on to make space. The bike benefits from a single seat conversion (requires finishing but easy enough to reverse if required), high level exhaust, braided brake lines front and rear. Its` engine is not seized and nor are its brakes.The engine seems to have good compression. I seem to remember rebuilding the brake calipers and front forks plus fitting a new front tyre. Everything was working (lights etc) when laid up. Any questions please ask as I dont bite but no daft tyre kickers as I really dont have the time - it`s not being sold as a runner nor is it priced like one.
